This site is something I built and designed myself - partly as a portfolio, partly as a playground for frontend ideas. My Favourites page in particular was a chance to experiment with different ways of presenting content. I keep coming back to it as the design evolves.
I'm a data and systems professional currently working as a Claims Data Strategy Analyst at Marsh in London, where I've spent the last few years embedded across analytics and platform teams. Day-to-day that means delivering reporting and dashboards for underwriting and executive stakeholders, leading client onboarding onto a proprietary claims platform, and working with SQL and Python to keep large datasets clean and reliable. Before Marsh, I worked as a Systems Analyst at Netcracker, translating telecom business requirements into functional specs and building demo applications. I also did a placement year at Sony in their TV OS department, where I built internal tooling in Python, JS and PHP and worked on QA for streaming platforms like Disney+ and iPlayer. I enjoy the analytical side of my work, but I'm also drawn to the design and frontend space - which is what this website is really about.
